Amanda Schweinebraten
Varsity Head Coach

Amanda Schweinebraten (Coach A) has been involved in cheerleading, dance, and gymnastics since a very young age. Amanda participated in studio, SAA, jr. high, high school, and all-star programs. Amanda is a proud alumni of Conant High School and the varsity cheerleading program. Amanda attended Illinois State University and was on ISU’s co-ed cheerleading team for 4 years. At ISU, Amanda’s all-girl stunt group qualified for UCA Nationals in Orlando, FL. Additionally, Amanda was a Universal Cheerleading Association Instructor teaching cheerleading among the Midwest for 8 years. Amanda also is a registered IHSA official attending regular educational courses. Currently, Amanda is a Wellness Teacher at Conant High School who holds two master’s degrees in Physical Education and Principal Preparation.
Christina Schweinebraten-Melone
Varsity Head Coach

Christina Schweinebraten Melone (Coach C) has been involved with cheerleading for 25 years. Christina competed on all-star teams, SAA, and is a proud alumni of Conant High School and the varsity cheerleading program. Christina attended Illinois State University and was on Illinois State University’s Co-ed Cheerleading Program for 4 years. At ISU, Christina and her co-ed partner qualified and competed at NCA Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL. Additionally, Christina was a Universal Cheerleading Association Instructor teaching cheerleading among the Midwest for 7 years. Currently, Christina is a Mathematics Teacher at Conant High School who holds two master’s degree in Mathematics & Principal Preparation.
Kathryn Sall
Junior Varsity Head Coach

Kathryn Sall (Coach K) has been involved with cheerleading for over 15 years. She began cheerleading with the Hoffman Estates Redhawks and continued her career at Hoffman Estates High School for four years. With the Hawks, she competed on Varsity state-qualifying coed teams and served as captain. After graduating from Illinois State University, her coaching career continued at her alma mater, Hoffman Estates High School. As the Head Junior Varsity and Assistant Varsity Coach, their program placed 14th in the IHSA State Series in 2018-2019. Her coaching experience continued with Conant High School during the 2019-2020 season as a volunteer for the program. Currently, Coach K is the Head JV Coach during the summer, fall, and winter seasons. She holds a bachelor's degree in English Education with an endorsement in Teaching English as a Second Language. She recently earned a master's degree in Literature from Northeastern Illinois University.
